This was a solution to a problem that people were having with holding Q&A sessions over Ustream. It is a voting system similar to Digg where viewers submit questions and vote up the ones they like. Uses custom back-end for the person holding the chat that runs in a separate application window showing just the questions and the ability to pause if they are coming too fast. View site

  • Web Development

    As an avid web-developer I have advanced my techniques over the past six years. Utilizing Javascript, PHP, and MySQL I have developed numerous websites for both personal and professional use.

    I can participate at any level of a project from coordination, programming, and to tying up loose ends. I also have extensive experience in numerous PHP and JS frameworks such as Zend, Symfony, Prototype, and jQuery.

  • Design

    Through years of web development I have picked up many tips and tricks using HTML markup and CSS to create webpages. Using design resources I can develop appealing websites with strong server back-end code.

    I can also modify existing HTML/CSS code to meet standards or improve functionality in specific browsers.

  • Database

    An integral part of any advanced web application is the database design. I have worked across numerous storage technologies from MySQL to PostgreSQL to SQLite. In previous web projects I have setup many complex databases or simplified existing ones.

    I have implemented many PHP frameworks to help decentralize database logic and allow for application portability and scalability.
